Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division (BHD) 24-Hour Crisis Line: This hotline is answered 24/7, 365 days a year for individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis. (414) 257-7222
Wisconsin Supports Everyone’s Recovery (WIser) Choice: clinical treatment and recovery support services for County residents ages 18-59 with a history of alcohol or drug use, with priority given to families with children and pregnant women (regardless of age). Access is provided at Central Intake Units (CIU) located in the Milwaukee community, Monday—Friday, on a first come first served basis:
