As part of a collaborative effort among local community organizations, health departments, fire departments, and individuals working to reduce opioid-related overdose death in Milwaukee County, this website was developed to provide community resources to friends, family, and people with opioid use disorder. Our goal is to link those affected by this epidemic to information regarding prevention, treatment, resources, and support services.

This site is maintained by Milwaukee Community Opioid Prevention Effort (Milwaukee COPE). Collaborators working with Milwaukee COPE on content development include: AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin, Cudahy Health Department, Greendale Health Department, Greenfield Fire Department, Milwaukee County Office of Emergency Management, City of Milwaukee Health Department, North Shore Fire and Rescue, North Shore Health Department, Wauwatosa Fire Department, and West Allis Fire Department. Milwaukee COPE is jointly funded by the City of Milwaukee, the Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Emergency Medicine and the Zilber Family Foundation.
